2.) What show(s) do you currently host on KVSC and what programs have you hosted in the past? 

Currently: Undercurrents Punk Rock Show  (since 1994!).  Previously:  Sunday night 2-6am "Insomnia Heaven," Monday Afternoon Progressive Rock Show, occasionally "Sisters" and lots more!

3.)  Please list some of the artists and musicians you consider to be a must play on your show(s)? 

7 Seconds, New Model Army, Blackfire, The New Suns, Thanks, The Offset, The Skabs, Abiku, any ignored or "underdog" independent band with good integrity!

4.)  Why are you involved with independent community radio at 88.1 FM?

Because I despise commercialism. I love being on the air and sharing music that excites me with an audience looking for a true alternative!

5.)  What is in your personal CD player, iPod, or mp3 right now (BE HONEST)?

Johnny Cash, Dresden Dolls, Marty Robbins, New Model Army, Street Dogs, Bob Dylan

6.)  Please disclose the most embarrassing music moment or concert you’ve attended or album you’ve bought (perhaps even shameful)?

Getting caught shoplifting U2's "The Joshua Tree" in the 80's (on cassette, no less!); also, I've been known to occasionally sing along with Avril Lavigne...

7.)  What are your hobbies and interests?

Punk Rock. Tattoos.  Wineries (touring, tasting, visiting).  Roller Derby (NSRG fo' life!).  Garage Sales.  Camping/travel.  Language studies (haphazardly).  Film.  My sweet lovin' mama

8.)  When you are not at work or KVSC, where can you most likely be found? 


9.)  If it were the end of the world and you could only take five things with you, what would they be (BE HONEST)?

Moot point - I assume I'd go with the world into oblivion...  but, just for fun:  1. See last hobby entry; 2. my son, Jackson; 3. assorted vegetable seeds; 4. acoustic guitar; 5. Rosario Dawson.

10.)  What do you think is the future of radio?

As long as people desire thought-provoking, stimulating "entertainment," radio will always exist in some form.
