Information that can help first responses be more effective? There’s an app for that.

The St. Cloud Police Department says they’ve begun using the Vitals app, which provides important information about people with both visible and invisible conditions. This allows first responders to be able to more effectively help victims.

Vitals President Janeé Harteau is the former Minneapolis Chief of Police. She says that everyone "came together to produce a plan to grow the overall safety of the city and help vulnerable populations."

The app allows people to enroll by providing their crucial information. The goal is for help to be there whenever it’s needed.

St. Cloud Police Chief Blair Anderson says, "Our goal is to help people in need by connecting them with the right resources at the right times."
