For children wanting to get a head start on reading, books will be on the move in the St. Cloud area. 

St. Cloud School District 742 says that the PAKRAT (Parents and Kids Reading A-Lot Together) Roll and Read Bus will return for the summer. The bus will travel around the St. Cloud area and children of all ages will be able to check out books for free. The bus will run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from June 19 to August 4. The bus will not run during the week of the Fourth of July.

The bus is funded by LEAF (Local Education and Activities Fund) with their own grants as well as grants by several foundations. The bus is sponsored by St. Cloud Area School District 742, the St. Cloud Rotary Club, and LEAF.
