A two-vehicle crash on Highway 71 near Sauk Centre has sent one man to the hospital with the other driver fleeing the scene.

The Minnesota State Patrol says an unidentified driver was driving south on the highway when it passed over the center line into the northbound lane. 21-year-old Jared Brever of Long Prairie was driving north when the unidentified driver collided with his car before leaving the scene.

Brever was taken to Sauk Centre Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The other driver has still not been identified.
