Volunteer for Codename Trivia!

Facebook Twitter

01/12/2018 - 1:00 PM

We would love to welcome YOU as a Trivia Weekend 2018 volunteer!

Codename Trivia: Strategies, Secrets and Spies starts at 5 p.m. on Friday, February 16 and continues for 50-consecutive hours until 7 p.m. Sunday, February 18. We need your help to make it happen on the phone bank hotlines!

As a volunteer, you'll be interacting with more than 2,000 trivia players calling in their guesses as well as our fantastic Trivia crew! Trivia volunteers are given on site training to work the telephone hotlines, which are typically in 3-hour shifts. Overnight and early bird volunteers are truly appreciated. No need to worry, parking in lots near Stewart Hall is FREE during Trivia Weekend.

Thanks to local businesses, we provide delicious food and beverages for volunteers, including the much needed early-morning and late-night hot coffee. If you volunteer 15 hours or more, you'll earn a collectible Codename Trivia T-shirt! Anyone 12 years of age or older can volunteer.

Learn more about the experience of Trivia Weekend on our website.

We need over 40 volunteers for each hour of all 50 hours of Codename Trivia. Email info@kvsc.org to sign up or visit the KVSC Studios in the basement of Stewart Hall on the campus of St. Cloud State University during business hours to sign up for your volunteer shift today!

KVSC Is On the Air In The Twin Cities!

KVSC is now broadcasting in HD in Minneapolis and St. Paul on 89.9 HD3.

Thanks to a new partnership with KMOJ, we are able to share Your Sound Alternative's programming with our members, welcome new listeners and share our Huskies pride with sports fans in the entire Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area.

How do I listen to KVSC on HD? All you need to do is tune in your HD Radio to 89.9 in the Twin Cities, it will automatically tune to HD1. However, KVSC is two clicks up to HD3 on 89.9. Many newer vehicles feature HD Radios. If your vehicle doesn't automatically tune to HD2 and HD3 channels please consult your owner's manual. Aside from vehicles, you can buy an inexpensive HD Radio for home use.

Where to I get an HD radio? Amazon has a wide variety of HD Radios available in prices ranging between $50 to $175. Minnesota's own Best Buy features models in stores as well as online starting at $35. By the way, HD radios play radio stations in digital and analog.

How far can I listen to KVSC in HD?  This map represents the coverage area of

KVSC on 89.9 HD 3. It gives listeners a clear signal from Maple Grove (where our primary signal from St. Cloud begins to fade) all the way to Hudson, Wisconsin.

This is an exciting development for KVSC and St. Cloud State University. We welcome questions on how to listen in HD as well feedback on our diverse programming that represents the Voice of St. Cloud.

Feel free to email us or call during business hours at 320-308-3053.
